Recently, Nicks Kids organized a 9v9 high school soccer tournament at Verbum Dei, drawing in several local high schools for a day of competitive play and community building. The event showcased youth soccer talent in the area and encouraged connections among players and supporters.

Teams from various schools, including some rivals, participated in the tournament. Despite the competitive atmosphere, it was nice to see players from different teams coming together and making new connections.

An alumni/parent team also joined the fun, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to the event. Their spirited play brought smiles to everyone involved, highlighting the love for the sport within the community.

Special thanks were extended to FLAG for their support, which contributed to the event’s success.

In the championship game, Nicks Kids emerged victorious over Camino Nuevo, scoring 3 to 2. It was an exciting finish that kept spectators engaged until the end.
